3 ways to install

First: From Plugin Directory

  • Navigate to the ‘Add New’ in the plugins dashboard
  • Search for ‘cbxchangelog’
  • Click ‘Install Now’
  • Activate the plugin on the Plugin dashboard

Second: Uploading in WordPress Dashboard

  • Navigate to the ‘Add New’ in the plugins dashboard
  • Navigate to the ‘Upload’ area
  • Select `` from your computer
  • Click ‘Install Now’
  • Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard

Third: Using FTP

  • Download ``
  • Extract the `cbxchangelog` directory to your computer
  • Upload the `cbxchangelog` directory to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory
  • Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard

Pro Addon Install
The process of pro addon install needs manual install that means uploading from wordpress dashboard or using ftp, the process is near same as mentioned above


  • Install the core plugin “CBX Changelog” and activate.
  • On activate the plugin creates a menu in dashboard named “CBX Changelogs”
  • Check the setting page for this plugin from WordPress dashboard left menu CBX Changelogs->Setting
  • To add any change log article click from dashboard left menu CBX Changelog -> Add New
  • Place the widgets in sidebar
  • If you are using Elementor Editor check the elementor widgets
  • If you are using WPBakery Editor check the wpbakery widgets
  • Use Shortcodes if need, the change log articles has fontend details page to display the changelog
  • The pro addon helps to integrate or add the change log features to any post types. That means you don’t need to create change log article but you can add change logs to any post, page or woocommerce or easy digital download products from their edit screen.


There is only one shortcode [cbxchangelog]
The shortcode has different params and they are explained below

param name default value possible values
id 0 This is any post id, if this value is 0 then the post id of the article or page is used where the shrotcode is used.
release 0 Without showing all release logs you can display any specific release log. The correct values will be like 1, 2, 3 … the number of any release log.
show_label 1 1 = show, 0 = don’t show, shows the labels “Added”, “Fixed” etc.
show_date 1 1 = show, 0 = don’t show, shows the release date.
relative_date 0 1 = show, 0 = don’t show, shows the release date relative or not.
layout prepros prepros, classic_plain, classic_advance, hugo (first two in core, rest in pro addon)
